How I Work

Support that is tailored, collaborative, and neuroaffirming

No two people, children, or families are the same. That means support with me is never one-size-fits-all.

I work alongside neurodivergent children, teens, adults, and the people supporting them to better understand what is happening, reduce overwhelm, and find practical ways forward that actually fit real life.

My approach is warm, trauma-informed, collaborative, and grounded in both lived and professional experience.

Who I Work With

I support:

  • parents and caregivers of neurodivergent children and teens

  • autistic, ADHD, AuDHD and PDA-profile individuals

  • families navigating school distress, burnout, meltdowns, overwhelm, or diagnosis

  • neurodivergent adults seeking understanding, support, or practical guidance

  • educators and families needing help making sense of support needs

  • homeschoolers and educators

What Support May Look Like

Support is tailored to your individual needs and may include:

  • parent coaching and guidance

  • understanding behaviour through a neuroaffirming lens

  • support around meltdowns, regulation, burnout, or overwhelm

  • school planning and educational problem-solving

  • advocacy preparation and communication support

  • helping make sense of diagnosis or possible neurodivergence

  • creating practical supports, visuals, resources, or written guidance

  • helping families work out what is actually going on and where to start

If what you need is not listed here, that is okay — please reach out. We can work out together whether I am the right fit.

What the Process Looks Like

1. Reach Out

You can contact me via email or the contact form.

You don’t need to explain everything perfectly or know exactly what kind of support you need.

A short message is absolutely enough.

2. Initial Intake Package

Most families begin with an initial intake package.

This gives us space to:

  • understand what is happening

  • identify your biggest stress points

  • explore your child or family’s needs

  • begin making sense of possible next steps

This first step is designed to reduce overwhelm and create a clearer path forward.

3. Ongoing Tailored Support

From there, support is flexible and depends on your goals and current needs.

Some people need:

  • a small amount of guidance and reassurance
    while others need:

  • ongoing support, planning, or practical problem-solving over time

There is no pressure to commit to more than what feels helpful and manageable.

My Role

My role is to support, guide, and help you make sense of what is happening.

I provide:

  • collaborative support

  • practical strategies

  • educational planning guidance

  • neuroaffirming and trauma informed problem-solving

  • advocacy preparation and confidence-building

I don’t attend school meetings or act on your behalf. Instead, I work alongside you so you feel more informed, more prepared, and more confident advocating for your child or yourself.

Payment Options

Sessions can be accessed through:

  • Private payment

  • NDIS self-managed

  • NDIS plan-managed

I’m not an NDIS registered provider. If you’re unsure whether your funding may be used, your support coordinator, plan manager, or local area coordinator may be able to help.

You Don’t Need to Have It All Figured Out

Many people reach out when things feel messy, confusing, or too hard. That’s okay.

You don’t need to have the right words, a clear plan, or everything organised before contacting me.

You’re welcome to reach out exactly as things are.
