ADHD Academy
A small-group learning experience for ADHD teens
Understand your brain. Build your tools. Thrive your way.
NeuroNavigation is exploring the possibility of launching ADHD Academy — a small-group program designed especially for teenagers with ADHD and neurodivergent brains.
The goal is simple: to create a space where teens can learn practical strategies, understand themselves better, build confidence and connect with other young people who genuinely get it.
What it Might Look Like
Sessions could include practical, engaging topics such as:
Understanding the ADHD brain
Why motivation, focus and executive functioning can work differently.
Time, planning and organisation
Practical strategies for managing time, tasks and everyday life.
Getting started and getting things done
Understanding why knowing what to do is sometimes very different from being able to start.
Emotional regulation and self-understanding
Recognising overwhelm, managing big emotions and understanding your own needs.
School and study strategies
Practical tools for navigating the demands of secondary school.
Confidence and self-advocacy
Learning how to understand your strengths, communicate your needs and work with your brain.
Connection and belonging
A chance to learn alongside other teens who understand that ADHD can sometimes make life feel a little complicated.
What would the group look like?
At this stage, I am exploring:
Small groups of approximately 5–6 teenagers
Practical, interactive and neurodiversity-affirming sessions
A supportive environment where teens can learn without judgement
A focus on real-life skills that teens can use at home, at school and in everyday life
The exact age groups, location, dates and format will be shaped by the interest and needs of local families.
Help shape ADHD Academy
Before launching the program, I would love to hear from families who may be interested.
If your teen might benefit from a small-group program focused on understanding ADHD, building practical skills and connecting with other neurodivergent teens, please complete the Expression of Interest form below.
This is not a booking or commitment. It simply helps me understand what families are looking for so I can explore whether a suitable ADHD Academy program can be developed.

A little note for parents/carers
ADHD Academy is being developed as an educational and capacity-building program. It is designed to provide practical learning, strategies and peer connection in a supportive environment. It is not intended to replace individual therapy, psychological treatment or medical care.
This is not a social skills program
ADHD Academy is not a program designed to teach teenagers how to behave, communicate or socialise in a particular way.
It is not about changing who your teen is or teaching them to mask their neurodivergence.
Instead, ADHD Academy focuses on practical, real-life learning and self-understanding. Teens will have the opportunity to explore how their brains work, understand their strengths and challenges, develop strategies that work for them and build confidence in navigating everyday life.
Connection with other teens is an important part of the experience, but the purpose of the group is not to teach teens to socialise "correctly".
It is a place to learn, share, experiment with strategies and connect with other young people who may understand some of the challenges of living with ADHD.
