Coming Soon: Parent Seminars & Educator Professional Learning

Exciting opportunities are on the way!

I’ll soon be offering parent information seminars and Professional Learning for teachers, covering topics such as neurodiverse profiles, sensory processing, emotional regulation, trauma-informed practice, neuroaffirming behaviour support, best practice, and practical strategies for connection, understanding, and organisation.

These sessions are designed to support parents, educators, and professionals with real-world tools, insights, and guidance — helping families and schools thrive together.

The Shine Collective

The Shine Collective represents the people, leaders, frameworks, and practices that inspire and guide my work. These approaches form the foundation of my work, my seminars, Professional Learning, and parent support programs, helping families and educators build understanding, connection, and confidence.

I draw on a diverse range of evidence-based and values-driven approaches, including:

  • Dr Ross Greene & Collaborative & Proactive Solutions (CPS) — understanding the “why” behind behaviours to create practical, collaborative solutions

  • Katie Novak & Universal Design for Learning (UDL) — building flexible, inclusive, strength-based learning environments

  • Big Picture Learning — personalising learning pathways to engage strengths and interests

  • Berry Street Education Model — trauma-informed practice that prioritises safety, relationships, and self-regulation

  • Aboriginal and culturally responsive education perspectives — integrating connection, identity, and inclusion

The Shine Collective is my way of acknowledging the frameworks and thought leaders that shape my practice. They help me create seminars, workshops, and support programs that are not only evidence-informed, but also practical, inclusive, and strength-based for the people I work with.
